How to build a nuclear rocket engine (dissertation).

When I was in elementary school, my dad worked for NASA at Plum Brook Station, near Sandusky Ohio. The facility there had a nuclear reactor (actually two), and I got to go inside the containment building a couple of times and stare into the spent rod pool. Cool blue glowing stuff. Here’s a script describing the decomissioning of the reactor there.
